MANFETE, which stands as Management Festival, the only management festival in Manipur, is an annual mega event organized by the students of Manipur Institute of Management Studies (MIMS), Manipur University. 

MANFETE has continued its legacy since 1996 having its own brand image and positioning to the youths in Manipur. For more than two decades MANFETE has been one of the biggest platforms for the youths of NorthEast, India to showcase their talents. In the last few years MANFETE has been booming across the regional areas also. The winners of the events have also been very successful in their careers from MANFETE. 

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MANFETE has been at halt since 2020. This season we are bringing you back the biggest, baddest and boldest Management Festival in the state. With the theme, 'RHYTHM IN THE CHAOS' , we are trying to ensure individuals to provide full access to the resources, opportunities and platform necessary to achieve their greatest potentials.

THE LOGO

"TAIPILEN", the logo of MANFETE stands for 'thawai piba mayamgi athoiba' which literally translates as 'the ultimate soul infuser'. 

The logo is designed to symboliZe the core ideologies of "MANFETE". At a glance, YAIPILEN' is a human figurine with a pointed face, holding tight a book on the right arm and flexing a strong left arm. 

The pointed face symbolizes a sharp and focused mind while the book on the right arm signifies the power of education and the strong flexed left arm signifies empowerment of the weak and the suppressed. 

The left and right sections of the figurine has an open gap in between to signify the open minded and the warm hearted welcome that MANFETE conveys to one and all irrespective of geruler, age, caste or creed. The figure is also slightly elevated and this symbolizes the upliftment of mind that one is ensured to experience at MANFETE. 

Of the two arms spreading above the figure, the longer represents the broad platform provided by MANFETE to all the participants, sponsors and organizers while the shorter signifies that MANFETE nurtures young talents and ideas. The arcs emerge from the tip of the letter 'A' of MANFETE signify the ambition.
